课程简介：生命科学的发展给人类健康带来了福音，医学技术的进步极大地延长了人们的寿命。然而，人们能否应病人的请求停止对他们的救治？安乐死应否合法化？尽管器官移植已经成为一种成熟的技术，为什么许多需要的病人难以得到救治？……. 生命伦理学运用伦理学的理论和方法，在跨学科和跨文化的情境中，对生命科学和医疗保健中的“道德方面”进行系统性的研究。 课程涉及的生命伦理议题包括：生命恢复技术和维持技术、器官移植、安乐死、临终关怀（安宁疗护）、脑死亡、人工流产、避孕与绝育、人工授精、试管婴儿、人体试验、艾滋病防控、人类基因计划、基因诊疗、基因编辑、基因增强、转基因食品、医患关系、卫生改革…… 新的生命伦理问题在不断涌现。
